Hello team,
Great Job today! I hope everyone had a good time shooting and skiing. As I mentioned, today was the final official team meeting for the season. If you have any more chances to get out skiing, please take advantage, we might even get some new snow this week.
We’re hoping to have a meeting sometime on or near April 1st as a Nordic Team season-end get-together, and informative kick-off for all interested on a continued training group that will run throughout the year.
This training group will tentatively meet each Wednesday after school until about 6:00 p.m., possibly moving up to two meetings per week in the summer, with fun events such as trail running, mountain biking, and paddling. Ideally leading up to participation in the June 27th Tri-Loppet, a run, bike, paddle event held at Wirth. This will be open to the current training group, as well as anyone else at the school, so pass on the info to friends.
Information will be out as soon as it’s finalized, so check email and school announcements. I hope everyone will be excited to participate.
Also if anyone was able to take some photos, if you could email them to me that would be a lot of help for this website and the City of Lakes Loppet Nordic Ski Foundation being able to promote and continue to partner with schools and create programming such as this.
